Our client is a national Food Manufacturing company are looking for Warehouse Shift Supervisors - Day & Afternoon shifts.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the successful candidate will need to have a full working knowledge of all warehousing processes involved in the Food Manufacturing industry and a solid understanding of how all equipment on site can be maintained and running to full capacity whilst giving leadership to warehouse personnel.

You will be required to monitor and coordinate the work for the Warehouse personnel and to ensure all relevant Safety, Quality, Productivity and targets are met. This role will ideally suit someone that enjoys new problems and challenges and isn’t afraid to approach these with an open mind. You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of Warehouse-related activities within the factory such as:

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Oversee and supervise warehouse personnel
• Ensure work orders meet specifications and requirements
• Troubleshoot and address any warehouse stoppages or related problems
• Adhere to and enforce strict internal compliance processes
• Warehouse duties including operating the forklift (Crown high-reach and counter-balance forklifts- double deep racking)

To be successful in this role you will be expected to have:

• Previous hands-on Warehouse Supervisory experience, ideally within a similar industry
• Proven experience in staff leadership, engagement, empowerment and development of staff
• A valid LF Forklift Licence (experience operating Counterbalance & High Reach Forklifts is essential)
• Warehouse management software knowledge
• Ability to use initiative, be solution focused and utilise strong problem solving skills
• Superior attention to detail and highly organised
• Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
• Your own reliable mode of transport including a valid Driver's Licence
