About the business and the role

Dindas Australia is a national wholesale distributor of timber and related products with offices in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

We are currently looking for a yard team member to work in our treatment plant at our Tingalpa site.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will be

• Wrapping and strapping treated timber
• Load and unload trucks when required
• General Housekeeping
• Assist in the daily running of the treatment plant

Skills and experience

To be considered for this role you will

• Have a current forklift license (side loader experience preferred)
• Timber experience would be an advantage
• A positive attitude and be able to conduct yourself in a productive and professional manner while adhering to all OH&S policies and procedures.
• Have good communication skills and be able to work in a team environment as well as autonomously when required.
• Be comfortable using chainsaws and drop saws.

On the job training will be provided for the successful candidate.
