An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated Planning & Scheduling Specialist to join the Service Delivery team located at our head office in Bundoora.  This challenging role is a system driven allocation process that requires the successful candidate to have an analytical background, with previous experience and an understanding of rostering procedures.

With the company’s core focus to provide the safest and best culture for all employees, this role will require extensive knowledge in fatigue management and safety.

Working in an established team, the successful candidate will be able to work both autonomously as well as collaborate within the team. 

Essential skills and experience

  • Experience in scheduling / network planning
  • Working knowledge of scheduling systems such as HASTUS and AUSTRICS
  • Previous experience in a similar large scale environment, working with workforce planning platforms to produce forecasts and schedules in an environment of 400+ drivers
  • Superior analytical, time management and organisation skills
  • Strong commitment to continual improvement and service delivery
  • Ability to work efficiently and prioritise under pressure
  • Robust problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in working with employees at all levels of the organisation
  • Strong ability to interpret high volumes of data, analyse information quickly and effectively problem solve
  • Experienced in working with Enterprise Agreements or Award conditions
