About the role:

Due to continuous growth, we now have a newly created position for a dedicated Despatch & Inventory Controller to join our growing team in Yennora.

This role is responsible for coordinating the activities of the NSW Despatch Operation and ensures the provision of excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

To be suitable for this role, you will be able to:

  • Prioritise safety in all aspects of work including compliance with all Timberlink policies and procedures
  • Monitor logistic costs
  • Liaise with sales and service team to advise of any despatching issues.
  • Administer stock distribution operations
  • Assist the administration and despatch teams as required

Desirable qualifications and qualities you possess include:

  • Knowledge of all Warehouse and Distribution processes – timber or hardware distribution experience preferable
  • Order administration and delivery process experience
  • Degree or qualification in OH&S (desirable)
  • High degree of safety in all aspects of work
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Own car and licence
  • Ability to work independently
