Our company is a successful family owned medium sized repetition engineering company with 28 CNC lathes in the south eastern suburbs manufacturing quality process components for a wide range of industries.
The successful applicant will have the following competencies:
- Trade qualifications and at least five years experience
- Experience setting, programming and operating CNC lathes.
- The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be trained and work on CNC lathes with Fanuc, Mitsubishi and Siemens 840D Controllers.
- Please state in your application any details referring to your experience with any of these CNC control systems.
- Must be able to interpret drawings with a keen eye for detail.
- Must have the ability to work with little supervision and have a high regard for quality and productivity.
- Enjoys working in a busy environment.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles will be advantageous.
