Trojan Recruitment Group is seeking experienced Machine Operators/Assembly Workers who have worked in a fast paced manufacturing environment with one of Australia’s leading custom plastic injection moulding and toolmaking firms.
You must have experience working with various machines and be able to work on a fast production line, whilst maintaining high quality standards at all times, and able to follow set procedures and have excellent problem solving skills and have a mechanical aptitude.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):-
- Operation of pneumatic tools
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Manual handling
- Check the quality of finished product
- Be able to follow instructions and complete required task
- Possess good time management skills
- Be willing to work overtime
To be eligible for the role you must have the following skills/experience:-
- Available to commence ASAP
- Experience in machine operating/assembly work in a fast paced environment
- Strong Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- High Mechanical Aptitude to be able to change machine part
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- A strong safety focus
- Current resume with two recent and contactable work references
- Hold a current Drivers’ Licence and have reliable transport
- Must have plastics experience
