The Company

My client is a leading FMCG manufacturer looking for a passionate and ambitious Inventory Analyst in Melbourne’s south east suburbs. This is a newly created role and an exciting opportunity to join a national and growing organisation. With the drive to be best in class, they require an Inventory Analyst to provide support to the planning team.
  
The Role

• Creating visibility around inventory in this fast paced environment  
• Analyse and manage data to ensure service levels are maintained and data integrity
• Creating a comprehensive Excel spreadsheet to monitor stock movements
• Work closely with key stakeholders to understand current performance and identify areas for improvement
• Recommend and implement new strategies and procedures to ensure visibility and performance

Your background

• At least 5 years as a Supply Chain Analyst, Inventory Analyst or similar within an FMCG manufacturing environment, this is non-negotiable, ideally within food manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect raw data and present it in a meaningful way to a range of stakeholders
• Detail orientated
• The ability to work autonomous 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders
• Ideally tertiary qualified with an Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in Business or related discipline or APICs qualifications
• Systems savvy with advanced Excel skills
