Due to continued growth our client a leading Fruit an Veg wholesaler located at Melbourne Markets in Epping is now seeking to employ 2 dependable, experienced Delivery Drivers to become a vital part of the delivery team.
NOTE: No Truck licence is required for this role only a manual drivers licence as you will be driving a 3 tonne truck that doesn't require a truck licence.
Start time from 5am, Mon - Sat.
Tasks will include but not limited to:
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to specific set locations
- Load and organise products into truck
- Follow set, scheduled route for daily deliveries
- Collect payment/s and signatures upon delivery
- Pick and pack when required
- Provide exceptional customer service
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- +2 years' experience as a delivery driver delivering fresh food products or similar an advantage but not mandatory
- Ability to read maps or set GPS to determine and track daily route
- Knowledge of Melb roads
- Physically Fit and active
- Motivated and self-driven
- Punctual and Reliable
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Friendly personality and well presented
- Valid Driver's License with good driving record
- Forklift License an advantage
