Immediate Start for an Experienced Logistics Coordinator to cover a maternity contract role in Eagle Farm.
Client Details
Our client is a Global food manufacturer and distributor, supplying to Australia's leading food service and retail food brands. They are currently seeking a Logistics coordinator for a maternity cover role.
Description
Wearing a number of hats this complex role will involve managing all inwards and outwards goods. Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following tasks:
- Coordination of Inwards and Outwards Goods
- Liaising with warehouse, logistics, production, transport and raw material providers to ensure the steady flow of goods
- Raising sales and purchase orders
- Updating and maintaining sales spreadsheets
- Distributing invoices to customers
- Order allocation and managing stock rotation
- File dispatch paperwork (internal transfers, dispatch and receipt documentations)
- Picking Error amendments (goods issues, goods receipts & stock adjustment policy forms)
- Export Sea Freight document generation
- Booking, document generation and tracking Air Freight
- Accounts Reporting - EOM Sales Report Reconciliation
Profile
The ideal candidate will have the following background and skillset:
- Experience working in a face paced environment with an ever changing production schedule
- Logistics background & solid understand of Supply Chain Management
- Experience with SAP and excellent excel, word & outlook skills (essential)
- Ability to manage a number of tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively
- Experience working in Food, FMCG or transport industry (highly regarded)
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Customer service focused and exceptional administration skills
