Our client provides beautiful and durable architectural metal finishes for all types of projects; residential, products, furniture, hospitality, commercial and retail. Their finishes can be seen all over Australia and in international projects specified by leading architects, interior designers, product designers and commercial and industrial clients.
About The OpportunityThey are now looking for a Materials Manager to join their company in Fairfield East, NSW, with the potential to earn $70,000 Per Annum + Superannuation + Use of Company Ute.
The primary purpose of this position is to manage your own area of quoting and ordering the supply of metal for small to large architectural projects.
Reporting directly to the Divisional Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining material costs and supply chain with established suppliers
- Quoting on above with electroplated finishes
- Managing project/quote register in CRM
- Receiving orders and processing internal orders
- 10 + years experience working in supply chain, logistics or estimating
- Metal industry or fabrication knowledge desirable
- Exposure to building, projects and basic understanding of architectural drawings desirable
- Proficient user of MS Office (including excel) and CRM systems
- Have a current drivers licence
- Manage your own side of the business which is new
- Busy expanding business involved in exciting projects nationwide and into NZ
- Work with industry professionals
- Use of company ute to meet clients
