DDL Recruitment - Melbourne
Our client is a family owned Crate and Pallet Making business located in Derrimut. They are seeking people who have a background working with timber or are experienced in the Crate/Pallet building industry.
This is an ongoing role, with a view to permanency (for TOP performers) working Monday to Friday. We are looking for a reliable and hard-working individuals who will hit the ground running.
In this role you will be required to work within a fast-paced environment, manufacturing various sized wooden pallets and crates as well as performing general wood repairs. You will need to be experienced and confident handling Air / Power and Hand Tools especially Band Saws and Nail Guns.
Forklift Licence advantageous.
To be successful in this role you MUST meet the following criteria:
- Have previous experience with Timber/Wood
- Must be confident utilising hand and power tools
- Mature, confident and hard working
- Must be safety conscious and work well within fast paced environment
- Punctual, efficient and reliable
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Flexible and committed to working within the needs of the business
