Based at our Global Head Office in Laverton North, we are looking to engage an experienced and results oriented Senior Procurement Lead to join our team. The main purpose of this role is to support the Regional Procurement Manager in developing and implementing the Procurement strategy for purchases across the Procurement functions.
This role will see the successful candidate operating equally in both a transactional and category management capacity and would suit a hands-on Senior Procurement professional to lead a team within purchasing function for all purchasing and importation of packaging, raw materials and finished goods.

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies with the objective of meeting business requirements for the assurance of supply, quality and cost.
- Support the line manager and lead as required, the negotiation of purchase contracts.
- Source, evaluate, establish and approve sources of raw material and packaging according to price, delivery conditions and quality of their products
- Cooperate with production, research, engineering and other departments in modifications to product specifications and delivery dates
- Analyse and prepare reports of purchases to meet the production plan and sales
- Work on and or lead IBP projects to improve systems and processes to deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop action plans to guide and collaborate with the performance of the team
This role would suit an experienced and technical oriented Procurement Leader with demonstrated experience in a dynamic manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment. Previous experience using SAP Ariba will be highly regarded.
