Textiles Company established in 1919 based in Rydalmere is a world market leader in window coverings and a major manufacturer of architectural products

They are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator with a Forklift licence to join their team on the afternoon shift.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Joining the textiles team, you would be responsible for the manufacture of high quality material using your skills as a machine operator.

The site has crews on Day, afternoon and night shift. Training would be on the day shift and would see a move to the afternoon shift (2pm- 10pm) once training has been completed. To be successful for this position you would need to be flexible and available to move to different shifts to fulfil business needs should the need arise.

To be considered for this role you must be available for the 5 days.

DUTIES

• Operation of machines
• Packing and filling of orders as required
• Use of Forklift
• Entering data onto the computer
• Quality assurance- Inspection

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience within a similar position
• Excellent communication skills along with a high understanding of numeracy
• Ability to work well within a small team
• Must be available for 5 days per week
• Must hold a valid Work Safe Forklift licence
• Prior experience with the use of a Forklift
• Basic Computer skills- training will be provided for onsite programs
