Our Australian owned manufacturing/wholesale business has a proud history of serving retail stores for 20 years with quality products and services. We seek a friendly, fit and well-presented candidate to join our factory and despatch team as a Truck Driver.
This full time role demands motivated candidates to perform all forms of delivery tasks such as:
- Drive company truck to deliver mattresses and related products to retail outlets and depots around the Melbourne metropolitan area,
- Load and unloading truck,
- Read and execute written/printed delivery instructions,
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with customers upon delivery,
- Liaise with warehouse, customer service and other delivery staff.
To be successful in this role candidates must possess:
- minimum Medium Rigid (MR) licence,
- A good driving record,
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role,
- Be physically fit and strong,
- First-class customer service attitude,
- Be well presented,
- Strong verbal and written communication skills,
- Achieve the highest regard for safety at all times,
- Be willing and able to work overtime during busy times.
