Our client is a leader in the recycling of tyres, partnering with another business to ensure the rubber is broken down and used to make new products. They currently have a vacancy for a HR Truck Driver to pick up the tyre's from their customers.

The Role
Working by yourself you will be responsible for driving the Heavy Rigid Truck to locations all over Brisbane, picking up car to truck sized tyres. This role requires you to be physically able to load and unload the tyres on and off the truck, stacking them effectively. It is therefore a very physically demanding job, with sometimes some very long days ranging from 10 - 13 hours a day, working 4 - 5 days a week. Paperwork is to be completed with each customer, upon picking up the tyres, so you must be well presented and able to communicate effectively. 

In return you will be offered a stable role and for the right person will be offered a permanent position after the probationary period. Plenty of overtime; after 38 hours you will be paid time and a half and double time. Management is easy to get along with and the working environment is friendly.

Must Have's

• HR Truck Licence
• Minimum 3 years Truck Driving Experience
• Be physically agile and able to lift heavy tyres
• Clean driving record (5 year QLD Transport History must be provided)
• Ability to reverse into tight spaces
• Be reliable, honest and trustworthy
• Be looking for a long term role
