We now have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Storeperson that will be responsible for Receiving and Dispatch to join our fast growing organisation in a role that offers you the chance learn all tasks within the warehouse.
The Essentials
In this job you will be working within a busy warehouse team. You will be responsible for receipting and dispatch of goods, forklift operations (including high reach work), picking and packing orders, and general maintenance. High standards of cleanliness in the warehouses are upheld by the each team member.
- Receiving, storing and shipping / dispatching goods- you must be detailed and have a sense of urgency
- Be a brand ambassador when onsite to collect the assets.
- Pick/ Pack
- Be hands on and be a team player
The necessities
- Must have Forklift - HR licence
- Has initiative and wants to learn all areas
- Communicates effectively; relationship building skills and a strong desire to build interpersonal links
- You will be an experienced warehouse operator with solid and recent experience in a FIFO (First -in,First -out) role
- High Reach Forklift licence desirable
- You will be able to demonstrate previous experience in warehouse operations including receivables and dispatch, forklift operations and general warehouse maintenance
- Excellent technical skills with regards to PC hardware and related equipment
- Professionalism in attitude, actions and appearance.
- Ability to multi task and prioritise however ensuring care and accuracy in getting the job done right
- Initiative and ability to plan and organise yourself
- An ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
