Our client is a well-regarded international freight forwarder offering all aspects of the supply chain - international forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing & distribution. They have a solid overseas network and a dynamic management team.
Against this backdrop, they are now looking to appoint a suitably experienced and motivated Customs Broker to join their team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, responsibilities for this role involve:
- Execution of customs related activities in line with local customs regulations
- Preparation of Customs clearance documentation
- Efficient classification and evaluation of inbound cargo
- Managing a portfolio of key client accounts
- Providing support and guidance to compiler/classifiers when required.
You – as the successful applicant – will have the following:
- Customs Broker Licence with approximately 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Driven and motivated to meet and exceed KPIs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and meticulous in the delivery of work
- Experience with EDI an advantage
