Veolia is seeking a Domestic Waste Collection Contracts Manager to manage resources and completion of jobs within the domestic depot to ensure the completion of jobs in accordance with safety and environmental standards, customer expectations, statutory laws and regulations and performance targets. To provide and encourage effective communication throughout the depot and to provide a link between management and employees  and to liaise with Councils and coordinate resolution of issues arising in a timely and effective manner

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Pro-actively monitor and supervise the operations within your area of responsibility in accordance with relevant regulations, policy and procedure to achieve desired business performance
• Supervise employees to ensure that responsibilities are allocated and fulfilled appropriately and that job requirements are clearly understood
• Monitor contract requirements and liaise regularly with Council in relation to the contract
• Ensure KPI’s & targets set by the Councils are consistently achieved in accordance with the service contract
• Supervise labour usage to ensure budget targets and business objectives are met
• Drive the performance on new and existing municipal contracts.
• Report on customer service and set preventative strategies to minimise customer complaints
• Undertake projects as required for tenders, surveys, assessing new technologies, and other developments as appropriate
• Promote and continuously apply personal safety, environmental and quality awareness in the workplace 

 To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Certificate IV in Business, or equivalent workplace experience (essential)
• Be prepared for an early start
• Certificate IV in WHS (desirable)
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience managing or supervising preferably within a Domestic Collections contract
• Demonstrated success in contract management
• Ability to establish and maintain ongoing effective relationships through a strong commitment to stakeholder management
