GET TO KNOW THE ROLE:

Following some internal promotions, we have TWO exciting opportunities to join our Network Management team – one position within our Domestic network, the other our International network.

As our next Network Planner, you will lead the practical analysis of both Virgin Australia and industry data to identify network opportunities, both short and long term. You will also provide timely and quality advice to assist our business in delivering a schedule that is commercially attractive to our guests, operationally viable, and maximises opportunities for Virgin Australia.

Our Domestic Network Planner will focus on monitoring and optimising domestic flying within the Virgin Australia Group of entities.

Our International Network Planner will focus on optimising international flying within the Virgin Australia Group of entities in addition to monitoring our strategic partnerships and alliances.

LET’S GET TO KNOW YOU:

• You hold 5+ years experience within a similar commercial role – Airline industry experience will be highly regarded;
• You ideally hold tertiary qualifications in Airline Management, or a relevant Business/Economics discipline;
• You are highly proficient in Excel and are able to efficiently manipulate large datasets;
• You hold demonstrated experience writing reports, but also presenting this data to Senior Leadership stakeholders and partnering with them on the ongoing journey;
• You are able to work to extremely strict commercial deadlines, and manage prioritisation across multiple projects and stakeholders.
