Boral Construction Materials & Cement (SA) is currently seeking an experienced Sales Service Officer to join our team. In this role you will develop, build and grow professional relationships with a variety of customers throughout our concrete business.
Reporting to the Sales Service Centre Supervisor, you will be based at our Norwood office. Your duties and responsibilities of the role will include but not limited to:
- Processing orders from internal and external customers;
- Resolving customer concerns and offering solutions for positive outcomes;
- Liaising with Allocators and other internal stakeholders to ensure the efficient delivery of Boral's product;
- Providing feedback to the business for the improvement of our products and processes;
- Building and strengthening, ongoing relationships with our customers;
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of quotes and price lists in Oracle; and
- Reconcile banking.
Preferred competencies include:
- Experience in a busy sales service and /or call centre environment;
- Knowledge of products and batch code systems;
- Outstanding Customer focus;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Quality orientation;
- Good computer skills;
- Knowledge of Adelaide metropolitan geographical area;
- Knowledge or ability to effectively learn, Cytrack call management system;
- Knowledge or ability to effectively learn, Command Alkon order despatch system.
