We are a medium sized, ISO9001:2015 accredited, composites manufacturer in Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs. Our plant produces large products for the heavy transport industry including roofs, hoods and air fairings.
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor to inspect product in our Mordialloc plant under the direct supervision of the Quality Manager.
Initially, we are offering a casual position, however, this may progress to permanency depending on product demand. The standard hours for the facility are 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday and overtime during the week and on Saturdays may be awarded as required.
This is an “on the shop floor” position where you will be auditing parts in a busy production setting, normally outside and under cover.
The role will involve the following tasks:
- Process Auditing
- In-process and Final Inspection of Product
- Data entry of inspection information
You must have a very good eye for detail as you will be requested to detect the smallest of surface defects and prior experience in a Quality Inspection role is advantageous.
Due to nature of our business, we are looking for highly motivated employees who can manage a variety of tasks concurrently and who have strong communication skills. Composites experience is not mandatory but is a valuable asset for this position.
