The Extruder Operator will form part of the TVP team who ensure we develop a quality product throughout the entire extrusion process.
Ideally the potential Extruder Operator would have previous experience in Machine Operation, be self motivated & able to coordinate a small team. Previous leadership roles would be preferred.However suitably talented and motivated individuals who are willing to learn will also be considered.
An understanding of WHS, HACCP, Quality Assurance and computing is preferred.
The individual will need to be able to direct a small crew towards achieving overall production goals. This position involves rotating shift work within a team environment.
The successful applicant will be;
- Experienced or willing to be trained in any areas of operation within extrusion for production of food grade products
- Be capable of supervision & direction of packing staff
- Be responsible for accurate record keeping of all operational data and undertake regular product testing during production
- Is mechanically orientated with an ability to work unsupervised
