The Company
Our client is a strong household brand throughout Australia. As part of a Machinery Hire set of branches, our client continues to expand and is looking for a Hire Controller to join their fast moving team, to continue to drive great commercial outcomes. 

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Management, the role has responsibility in managing site specific locations around South and Northside of Brisbane. While there will be a focus on Indirect categories, this role will also manage branch activities, employees and ensuring business is running viably to meet financial budgets.

Responsibilities of this role include:

• Location is near Aspley
• Display high customer service, phone and team building skills
• Support by a very hands on approach to the role and in the yard and workshop environment
• Manual car licence BONUS truck licence, EWP and FORKLIFT licence.
• Build unique and strong strategic relationship with customers and portray sales manner.
• Good mechanical knowledge of construction machinery would be high advantage

Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have 3 - 5 years of experience in Hire Industry, ideally has managed or supervised working background within the Hire industry.  A proactive, self-starter who is determined and thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment.  A strategic thinker with strong analytical and mechanical skills and able to build good relationships internally and externally.
