On-going roles available for experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers - Potential fulltime opportunity
APS are currently looking for experienced and reliable counterbalance forklift drivers who can competently load/unload containers and trucks.
What you will be required to do:
- Operate a counterbalance forklift
- Load/unload containers/trucks
- Move stock
- Lift up to 25kgs (very minimal lifting)
- Manually unload/load containers
- Palletise
- Checking orders
- Read manifests and connotes
- Strapping
- Receiving
You will be required to start at 7:00am - 3:00pm or 7:30am - 3:30pm depending on which site you are required at.
This role will be on-going for the right candidate and has a view to full time opportunities if performance targets and budgets are met.
To be successful you need:
- A valid LF forklift licence
- Experience operating a counterbalance forklift (1 year minimal experience)
- Referees to verify the last 2 years of your work history
- Ability to lift up to 25 kgs repetitively
- Capable to manually unload containers
- Available Monday to Friday
- Flexible with start times
- Good attitude
- Reliable
- Committed
- Flexible within your role
- Can start ASAP
