We are Australia's leading natural health brands, based in North Shore, Sydney. The product line includes wide range of complementary medicines and skin care products. We are currently seeking a full time Lab Chemist to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform various microbiological tests of raw materials, bulk and finished products.
• Environmental monitoring of plant and buildings in accordance with the GMP guidelines
• Method development, analytical and process validation, stability testing.
• Maintaining and perform the calibration for laboratory equipment and instrument
• Investigate, implement and validate new laboratory procedures/techniques (including the updating of existing or writing new testing standards/standard operating procedures).
• Purchase laboratory supplies/services to ensure stocks are available
• Review, analyse, interpret and report data
• Trouble shooting and conducting OOS/CAPA investigations
• Laboratory housekeeping and QC support functions when required (e.g. raw material sampling, waste handling, and glassware washing).

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Chemistry or similar discipline
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook)
• Demonstrated experience with lab instrumentation/ equipment such as HPLC, GC, IR, UV etc.
• Previous experience in analytical chemistry in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organisation skills
• High attention to detail and problem solving initiatives
• General knowledge of TGA regulations pertaining to CGMP’s and pharmaceutical industry expectations
• Ability to work in fast paced environment 
• Must have visa working rights in Australia
