YOUR NEW COMPANY
Our client is a highly respected, locally owned, bulk fuel transport specialist who have been in operating for 20 years throughout southern Queensland and northern New South Wales. They pride themselves on their professionalism, efficiency and reliability and are uncompromising on safety, updating their fleet every three to four years. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a permanent Fuel Tanker Driver to join their team
YOUR NEW ROLE
You will actively contribute to a friendly and positive working environment and will be responsible for the timely pick-up and delivery of fuel, whilst being accountable for the safe and efficient operation of your vehicle. Due to the nature of this position, it is imperative that you have a MC licence with a minimum of two (2) years' experience driving a manual B-double.
YOUR NEW DUTIES
Working a five day on/five day off roster, and performing all duties in line with the company's and statutory quality assurance, safety and security procedures, you will be responsible for:
- Loading bulk fuel at terminals and deliver to depots, service stations and other end users
- Keeping appropriate records and reports, including accurate record of timesheets/logbook hours
- Maintaining a clean, neat and orderly vehicle
- Conducting work in an open and conducive manner
- Carrying out other reasonable duties as directed by management
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
With your neat presentation, good time management and sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety you will bring to this position your:
Current MC licence with a minimum of two (2) years' B Double manual driving experience
- Dangerous Goods Licence
- Fatigue Management Certificate
- Proficient operation of manual gearbox
- Ability to pass inductions at terminals
- Safe Load Pass (desirable)
