Norton Gold Fields, an approved EEO employer, is seeking an experienced and qualified Stores Person to join our Stores team, based at our Paddington Site. Reporting to the Supply Superintendent, this role is responsible for maintaining and delivering inventory across Norton Gold Field's Paddington Operations.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Previous Experience in a similar role
- Current unrestricted WA HR class licence
- Current National Police Clearance
- High Risk Forklift Licence
- Strong communication skills and focus on safety
Key Duties / Tasks for this Position:
- Ensure the quality of goods and materials accepted into the warehouse and supplied to internal customers
- Perform regular, accurate stock takes as required
- Ensure the availability of catalogued items
- Accurately administer receipt and dispatch of inward and outward goods from the warehouse to ensure equipment can be easily located and retrieved
- Accurate distribution of goods to Internal Customers
- Accurately pick and pack goods within the warehouse
- Efficiently use the computer based store system
- Conduct housekeeping and security duties within the store and compound
- Assist in Month end duties such as stock item issues, fuel dips, as required.
