Description
The core responsibilities of this role relate to the day to day supervision of the packing of products at the end of production, people management and related activities in the specific area of the factory. These responsibilities encompass:
- Meeting the daily and weekly production plan
- Provide coaching and training to team members
- Adhere to HACCP standards
- Ensure waste levels are minimised
- Carry out safety risk assessments, correcting any non-conformance
- Assist with technical troubleshooting on the capital equipment within your operational area.
- Apply policies and procedures to ensure maximum efficiencies in the area
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working in production in a food manufacturing organisation
- Previous experience in a Fresh/Frozen production environment
- Ability to motivate line staff as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven leadership skills
- Problem solving experience with the ability to implement solutions and drive safety and quality performance
