Our client has been servicing the driveline needs of the heavy vehicle transport industry across Australia for the past 40 years. It is an Australian owned and operated company and has continued to be an industry leader in the rebuilding of truck transmissions and differentials.

About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant to take full responsibility for the cleaning of the warehouse, general tidying of the floor and operating a forklift. It is a requirement of the role that you have the ability to lift 20kg manually. You will also be required to carry out delivery duties.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Operating a forklift
• General warehouse duties
• Cleaning of the warehouse, workshop and factory
• Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and co-workers
• Receipt of warehouse stock products
• Preparing and completing orders for delivery or pick up
• Performing inventory controls and keeping quality standards high, for audits
• Delivery duties as and when required

To be successful for this role you must have the following:

• Essential that you have a strong command of verbal English
• Previous experience in a similar role or warehouse environment
• The ability to lift 20kg manually on a daily basis
• Current Drivers License
• Current Forklift License
• Be able to work autonomously
