Our client is a market leader in its field, supplying contract manufacturing and packaging solutions to the FMCG industry. Their business is known for its customer focus and can do attitude.
They are looking for a Production Planner and Buyer to join their team based in Hornsby.
Reporting to the Production Manager your key focus will be to;

• Create and schedule the Production Plane for Made to Stock and Made to Order products.
• Materials requirement Planning and packaging planning to satisfy the manufacturing plan as well as confirm availability to meet production requirements
• Enter and Maintain client orders and forecasts in the ERP system (SAP).
• Measure production efficiency against the plan
• Communicate dates and stock information to customer service as well as coordinate cycle counts for finished goods
• Communicate production priorities to production management and ensure production targets are met
• Review DIFOT report and action when required

Your key attributes will be;

• Production and Buying experience
• Can do attitude and outstanding time management skills.
• Tertiary qualifications in Operations, Supply Chain or a related business discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be a problem solver and good communicator (verbal and written)
• Experience with SAP would be an asset or similar ERP System
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills (particularly Microsoft Excel and operating software).
• Excellent analytical and numeracy skills
• Strong understanding and exposure to MRP environment or philosophy
