CW Products is a private, growing, national manufacturing company that in recent times has purchased Shutter Components Australia in Victoria to further assist with the steady organic growth they are experiencing. With a state of the art manufacturing facility and head office outside of Adelaide, and manufacturing and distribution capabilities in Ravenhall, they are one of the market leading wholesale suppliers of high quality roller shutter products and complete made-to-measure roller shutters, components and sub systems.

Since their foundation, they have achieved success by cleverly inventing, developing, producing and nationally distributing quality products that are fashionable and functional. They have steadily transitioned to a greater level of success in the last six years.

With year on year growth, and ambitious plans for the future, they now wish to appoint a Branch Manager that will drive the business forward throughout the Victoria market by leading a small but growing team that services both the wholesale and made to order markets.

Reporting to the Managing Director based in Murray Bridge, South Australia, the new appointment will be instrumental in ensuring profitability for the region by effectively managing staff and operational requirements, meeting or exceeding customers’ expectations, and supporting the business in its achievement of business goals and strategic objectives.

This role will be responsible for all aspects of the Victoria operations, and the corporate sales function will support the branch by providing greater sales and revenue which will continue to grow an already healthy client base.

The Victorian office is currently comprised of six staff that includes office administration, production, warehouse and delivery who will report directly to this position. Key Results Areas for this hands-on role will be focussed on People Management, Customers, Operations, and Financials and it will be necessary to have a technical or mechanical background to be able to best understand be trained, and train other staff on the equipment and processes in this made to order production environment company.

While a sales background is not critical, a customer service approach combined with effective interpersonal and communication skills will be important. Candidates for this role could come from warehouse or distribution. Other candidates that could be strongly considered could currently be in another Branch Manager role and be seeking to make a greater contribution and more fully utilise their capabilities.

Further selection criteria for this position includes experience or the capability in understanding financials in order to track budgets, forecasts and profitability as well as being able to bring to the team  a self-starter approach that will assist in taking this important operation to the next level.
