HC Driver – QLD – Bulk Chemical Cartage

HC Driver required for busy transport company, Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturdays), immediate start

We're looking for a reliable, motivated and enthusiastic full time driver to deliver construction products throughout Queensland and Northern NSW.  The base is in Eagle Farm, so easy access to this area is recommended.

The successful applicant will act as a representative of our company to clients at sites on a daily basis, so will require a strong customer focus. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential

Work days are Monday – Friday (normally starting between 3-5am) with an occasional Saturday.

Overnight trips 1-2 nights per month

Deliveries are to metro and country areas.

Immediate start available for the right applicant!

Tasks and responsibilities:

·         Deliveries within metro and country areas of QLD and Northern NSW

·         Accuracy and attention to detail

·         Ensuring neat and clean presentation of vehicle and yourself

·         Completion of paperwork and client contact

The successful candidate will have:

·         HC License (Current Driving Record required)

·         Experience with bulk liquid, bulk powder or precast concrete panels

·         Clear communication (both verbal and written English)

·         The ability to start early is a must

·         Flexibility with hours of work (1-2 nights per month overnight)

·         Ability to think on the run, and work in a team environment

·         Ability to reliably work autonomously after initial training

·         Familiarity with and willingness to adhere to WHS and other operational procedures – You will be required to undertake induction for multiple sites including mine sites.

·         References from previous employers (names/contact details of referees)

·         Forklift license (advantage)

·         Must be willing to undergo Random drug and/or Alcohol tests
