Our client is a global leader in thermal insulation. Working with Tier 1 builders, they supply and manufacture innovative ultra-thin flexible insulation products and high performance rigid insulation. Due to steady growth, they are seeking a Production Operator/Assembler to play a critical part in the optimization of production efficiency, and the investigation of process problems.
Reporting to the Production Team Leader you will be responsible for:
- Preparation, loading, splicing, unloading, handling & storage of rolls of Facings
- Routine & Non-routine tool changes
- Planned & Un-planned Production end
- Assessment & Adjustment of Board Quality
- Running data collection
- SAP entry and understanding
To be successful in this role you MUST possess:
- Experience working in a busy, hands on production line/manufacturing environment
- The ability to complete a police clearance and pass a drug and alcohol screen
- A current LF forklift licence
- Attention to detail, quality and safety
- Excellent communication and practical thinking skill
- Enthusiasm and the ability to multi-task and be driven to reach production targets
- A good level of computer literacy
