About the business
Our company is a leader in architectural steel sheeting products providing everything from balustrades to building facades.
About the role
This role will be focused around operating the brake press on a day to day basis, as well as providing support to the factory where needed.
This role will be Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30am to 5:00pm with operational overtime available on weekends.
Training will be provided in operation of all equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Level uneven material.
- Guillotine material to size.
- Program and operate brake press.
- Load and unlock trucks.
- Wrapping and storing of pallets.
Skills and experience
What we are looking for in a candidate are:
- Proven experience programming and operating a modern CNC brake press (Minimum of 3 years).
- Solid background working with sheet metal.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Physically fit as the role requires manual handling of material.
- Valid Forklift licence.
- Australian drivers licence.
- Clear communication skills.
- Trumpf equipment experience is a plus++
