With the recent joint venture USG Boral Building Products are now looking for an experienced Trade Store Operator to join their team based in Burleigh Heads. Reporting to the Trade Store Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the daily operations of the Burleigh Trade Sales Store, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
Key duties:
- Provide a high level of customer service in all communications with customers
- Maintain and build relationships with existing and new customers
- Pick customer orders for plasterboard and associated products
- Load customer vehicles and Company delivery truck
- Unload semi-trailers and supplier vehicles according to Company procedure
- Inventory control & stock takes
- Actively partake in all site HSE activities, improvements and duties as delegated by the Trade Store Manager
- Maintain a safe, clean environment
- Ensure compliance to site Traffic Management by all staff, contractors and visitors
Must haves:
- Previous experience in warehousing or other trade environment
- Sound approach to HSE and customer service
- Strong communication skills and ability to interpret customer orders
- A full drivers licence and forklift ticket
- Attention to detail and accuracy focussed
- Computer literate
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday
