Viking Rentals is a leading Australian hire business. We rent toilets, showers, waste bins, temporary fencing and other items that assist our customers in both the residential construction and major event industries. Our customers include some of the biggest festivals, sporting events and builders throughout Australia. We are looking for a hands on Operational Manager to lead our New South Wales team.

The Role:
Reporting to the National General Manager the successful candidate will be a hands on operational leader with excellent planning, logistics and people management experience. MR Licence is a minimum requirement however experience in driving truck trailer combinations and tilt tray operation would be beneficial. Good communication and customer service skills are required when coordinating on site activities with client representatives. Experience with basic plumbing would be highly regarded. You will work closely with our national operations team and sales people to plan and execute all operational activities to meet and exceed our customers expectations.
Key role responsibilities include:
- Logistics and labour planning
- Ensure the timely delivery, installation and servicing of rental fleet
- Maintenance of rental fleet and vehicles
- Promoting a safe workplace in line with company policy and safety legislation including transport chain of responsibility (COR)
The successful candidate will possess:
- Computer literacy (Microsoft office suite)
- Current New South Wales MR/HR Licence
- Forklift Licence
- Be prepared to work some weekends and after hours
- Commitment to excellent customer service
