About Eagles

For over 45 years, Eagles has been supplying the Central Coast, Newcastle, Hunter region and Mid-North Eastern Seaboard of NSW with all their bathroom and kitchen needs. We are the largest locally owned and operated independent plumbing supplies company which is growing and as such we are always looking for energetic hard workers to join our team.

 

About the Development Program

The Eagles Development Program has been planned to involve progressions through our Delivery, Warehousing, Trade Sales and Management teams within a 5-year period. Progressions are designed to give you broad experience and hands-on knowledge of our industry while introducing you to all aspects of our business.

Our development program is designed for you to start at the operational level as a delivery driver and work through a structured plan to become a leading manager. Your development integrates on-the-job learning and experience, with support coming in different forms; from mentoring and coaching, to resources and experts across the business. You’ll be challenged and stretched in your role, but we’ll make sure we give you the tools you need to be your best.

This program is a permanent, full-time offer which will see you initially obtain your Certificate III in Warehousing Operations as well as present other training opportunities. We are developing our leaders of tomorrow through set standards and expectations that must be met in order for you to progress through our program.

We’re building a professional, customer-focused culture, and you can be sure we’ll hold you to those expectations. Your ongoing development will be a focus throughout the program; giving you access to managers who have grown through the company themselves and who can mentor and guide your work.

  • Are you patient and willing to be in it for the long-haul?
  • We’re looking for people who are motivated and ready to take on new challenges – are you passionate, curious and seeking a rewarding career?
  • Do you have a manual drivers licence?
  • How are you with computers? Does the power button freak you out or can you comfortably navigate your way through different programs?
  • Do you have superb written and oral communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders?
  • Can you uphold Workplace Health and Safety Standards and Procedures in line with our company policies?
  • Are you ready to be our next Manager?

Program Eligibility

Our program is open to people from all backgrounds; school leavers, Uni graduates and everything in between. You will need to hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Australian permanent residency.
