About the Role
The role reports to the Logistics Supervisor.
This position would co-ordinate export consignments in accordance with customer delivery requirements. This is performed by liaison with customers, suppliers and freight forwarder/customs agent and involves organising all relevant internal and external paperwork. In addition this position will update the relevant spreadsheets with despatch figures for reporting.
Other duties include:
1. Raise Purchase Requisitions for weekly exports and imports
2. Prepare and update dispatch advice on a weekly basis
3. Prepare weekly freight analysis report for management review
4. Prepare loading and export schedules
5. Liaise with shipping companies to arrange all export shipments and prepare all associated paperwork including invoicing
6. Relief coverage for Logistics Supervisor
About You
- You must have the right to live and work in Australia.
- Able to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong customer focus and communication skills
- Relevant tertiary education/industry certifications advantageous but not essential
- A current driver’s licence
