We are seeking a passionate and experienced EHS Manager to partner with our supply chain and commercial businesses across Australia and New Zealand. As a key member of the Supply Chain Leadership team you will be responsible for the development and implementation of all environment, health and safety activities.

About the role:

  • Leads the KANZ EHS function to ensure compliance, deliver goals and objectives and build organisational capability
  • In partnership with the KANZ Incident Management Team ensures effective incident management is underpinned by strong processes
  • Leads KWS EHS Centre & Implements KWS EHS activities across ANZ Supply Chain Operations.
  • Manages national Workers Compensation and third party providers realising opportunities for cost savings and improvements
  • Develops and coordinates EHS & Workers Compensation reporting activities across ANZ    
  • Partner with HR on Health and Wellbeing strategies and program implementation across ANZ
Skills, experience & attributes sought:
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in Environment, Health & Safety or similar discipline
  • Minimum 7-10 years previous generalist EHS experience including workers compensation and injury management, EHS compliance and legislation, training and development, EHS audits, and workplace investigations
  • Experience in driving Behavioural Based safety initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Manufacturing environment and promoting positive EHS behaviours
  • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to resolve conflict constructively
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation
