HC Driver - Night Shift 

Experienced HC Driver to work night shift starting at 5pm working through to 5am. Overtime at penalty rates & readily available for great earning potential.

Are you an experienced HC Driver, who enjoys to be out on the road? Do you enjoy local work?  Are you able to do various loads throughout the night? Are you willing to load and unload the truck manually and with mechanical aids? Do you have excellent knowledge of the Sydney Metro Area? Are you available immediately?

About the job:

• HC only - Local and Country Deliveries - 

• HC with forklift licence 

• You will be required to load and unload the truck both manually and using mechanical aids

• Drivers will be required to use OZ binders and chains (very rarely will you be required to tarp the load)

• Be available for night shift

• ASAP Start

• Be flexible with start times

• Be prepared to do have a few weeks training

• You will enjoy working here because they have access to overtime when it's available, have great earning potential and work for a company where safety is at the forefront of everything they do.

In order to be successful you need to have the following:

• A minimum of 1 year HC experience - must be able to reverse a truck

• MUST have a forklift licence

• Physically fit and able to perform all duties

• Must be competent in assessing load safety and restraining loads

• MUST be competent in hooking / unhooking trailers

• Be able to commit to a minimum Monday to Friday and weekend is sometime available

• Sound knowledge of the Sydney Metro Area

• Have a clean driving history - must provide a current RTA Printout

• Be a great communicator and be able to think on your feet.

You will also need to undergo a driving assessment and online training if you are successful.

The Client:

Our client is a Truck Safe accredited Company who have been providing transport, logistics and warehousing support to the Australian industry for more than 70 years. Together we are currently looking to recruit Semi (HC) Local Truck Drivers for ongoing work, who are living close to the Blacktown area, for both afternoon and night shifts. It is a great advantage, if you also hold a current forklift licence.
