deugro is a well established international project freight forwarder specialising in providing logistic services to a range of customers across a diverse industry base. We are looking for a successful driven sales person to join our growing General Cargo Air & Sea Freight division.
Leveraging from your existing client relationships and with a proven track record and the drive and ambition to grow your account base you will be primarily responsible for new customer growth within our general cargo division. This is an exciting and demanding role that will require you to use your well honed general cargo skill set plus you will gain invaluable exposure and opportunities in the project sector.
Your primary duties will consist of but not be limited to:
- New business growth
- Sales and trade lane development.
- Liaising with shipping lines and or airlines, agents and suppliers.
- Liaising with deugro offices, agents and clients in Australia and overseas.
- Some travel domestically / internationally (driving license required).
- Any other duties as set out by management.
We are looking for a self motivated, skilled and committed person, possessing strong initiative and willing to work in a team environment. Acting in a business capacity you will require strong commercial acumen and excellent verbal communication skills coupled with a good level of numeracy and an eye for details. The ability to interact with people on all levels is essential.
To be considered for this role it is essential that you hold Australian residency status, have a MINIMUM of 5 years experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry with an existing client portfolio.
