The Client:
Well established design and manufacturing company in the eastern suburbs has an urgent requirement for an experienced Supply Chain Analyst. Reporting to the Supply Chain Leader, you will be required to provide support to the supply chain team, including data analysis and reporting, maintenance of purchasing system attributes, purchasing co-ordinator backup, assistance with supply chain projects and various adhoc requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing average monthly usage, forecasting and safety stock calculations 
  • Providing purchasing forecasts to source entities as required
  • Preparing inventory outlook reports on a weekly basis and identifying and following up on any stock shortfalls or issues
  • Regularly update Oracle and related documents and reports as required
  • Assisting and guiding the Supply Chain team in daily purchasing activities including review of MRP order quantities
  • Liaising with global help desk and sourcing co-ordinators on any applicable changes or issues.
  • Analysing, reporting and distributing customer back-order data.
  • Managing and communicating with Logistics in order to prioritise inbound containers as required
  • Preparing and providing analytical support to other departments.
  • Identifying, reviewing and resolving outstanding purchase orders and dated customer orders.
  • Utilising IQR as part of ongoing inventory management and provide end of month reporting in IQR
  • Providing financial analysis as required
  • Reviewing excess and obsolete stock and manage an action plan
  • Assisting with lead time review and making necessary adjustments to the system
  • Maintaining and managing records
  • Assisting with month end reporting
  • Providing assistance, support and analysis with a range of projects involving inventory and supply chain
  • Providing assistance with development and sourcing of new parts
  • Ensuring data integrity of all analytics and reports
  • Identifying, communicating and providing recommendations on any areas of potential improvement to Supply Chain processes
Key Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office i.e. Word, Excel including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Oracle or similar experience
  • Inventory/purchase order management experience
  • Forecasting experience
  • Ability to analyse large volumes of data (up to 50,000.00 lines) into meaningful information
  • Inventory Quality Ratio (IQR) system
