THE ROLE
My client, a large National Transport Company - with a focus on innovation, safety and customer satisfaction, are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Operations Manager based at their Rockhampton depot to lead the team of waste vehicle operators, to effectively manage daily operational goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with operations on a day to day basis
- Establish and manage relations with customers, team members and others as required
- Mentor and train your team
- Comply with laws, regulations and requirements including OH&S with an understanding of return to work processes
- Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement
- Strategically identify run efficiencies and calculate plans for improvement
- Work closely with the branch manager to improve performance and continually increase fleet productivity
THE CANDIDATE
- Must have current HR (Heavy Rigid) licence or be willing to obtain one
- Must have relevant management experience
- Well-developed people and time management skills
- KPI focused with the ability to perform under pressure
- Be able to provide an up to date Driving Record at interview stage
- Able to successfully satisfy a pre-employment medical
