WHS/Safety Systems Specialist - Rail - NSW
We require a specialist, capable of analysing safety systems data, aimed at improvements. Ideally an applicant who is experienced in the review of Business Unit risks and controls and who can build and sustain proactive relationships with regulatory bodies whilst coordinating response to their requests.
We are looking for a Tertiary qualification in workplace health and safety along with several years of experience in a high risk multidiscipline industry with operations spread across remote facilities. The ideal applicant should have strong analytical skills along with proven negotiation and communication abilities. Solid leadership and the ability to influence and develop team member behaviours will be required and previous experience in the Rail Industry systems and code of practice along with a code C licence are essential
The successful applicant will be expected to consent to and pass a medical fitness test relative to the role, along with a National Criminal History Check.
