AWX are seeking applications for a client in the picturesque South Burnett Region. There are opportunities for experienced Knife Hands and Slaughtermen to join their team at their newly renovated, state of the art facility at a well-known, national supplier of the freshest pork in Queensland.

Work will be on-going with opportunities for full-time offers in time.

Experience is critical and suitably experienced candidates will be appropriately remunerated.

These hands-on roles will suit fit energetic people looking for a secure career in the Meat Processing Industry.

Reporting to the section supervisor the successful Knife Hands will be involved with:

• Preparing meat products by cutting & trimming
• Order processing and packing
• Assembly of orders to customer and company requirements
• You will be working with pork products
• Other duties as directed by the Supervisor

Reporting to the section supervisor the successful slaughtermen will be involved with:

• Slaughter and preparation on the kill floor
• Preparing Pork products by cutting and trimming
• Other duties as directed by the supervisor

Further attributes that may be beneficial for successful candidates:

• Must be physically fit and enjoy working in a team
• Able to stand for long periods at a time
• Hold a current drivers licence and own transport
• Flexible for shift work
• Well presented with good personal hygiene
• Reliable & Motivated to succeed
• Excellent English skills are essential
