About the Role
Our company is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our Pooraka based operations team. We are looking for a person who has the ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment.
This role represents a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Forklift Driver reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager.
To be considered for this position you will need the following:
- A current forklift licence – LO licence desirable
- Experience in loading and unloading trucks
- Ability to work in a team and take direction
- Willingness to learn and upskill where required
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Help maintain a safe workplace
- Punctual and reliable
- Must have a current drivers licence
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Clear communication skills – both verbal and written
- A minimum of 6 months consistent experience as well as 12 months picking and packing experience
- Being able to work in a fast paced environment
- Warehouse, logistics or distribution experience desirable
You must possess the ability to work flexible hours. (Including weekends)
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be reliable, able to work calmly in a high pressure environment and have a great desire to work in the transport industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to take charge and help run a key part of this growing business.
