We are inviting applications for a highly experienced Warehouse Leading Hand to join our Warehouse team based inTatura on a permanent full time basis. 

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for providing direction, leadership and training to Warehouse staff, as well as manage day to day labour requirements and maintain inventory and supplies by receiving, storing and delivery of goods. 

In addition, the Warehouse Leading Hand will assist to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations as well as contribute to a hands on and team environment.

Additionally you will have:

• A strong safety focus
• Current Driver’s License, High Risk Forklift and Heavy Rigid License
• National Certificate 1,2 & 3 Warehouse Operations (Desired)
• CERT IV Leadership and Management (Desired)
• Demonstrate initiative and positively participate & lead by example
• Ability to lead and coach employees to adhere to all company policies and work according to standard operating procedure
• Foster a culture of accountability
• Excellent communication, problem solving, analytical and strategic thinking skills with a dynamic and energetic nature to build strong cross functional relationships
• Behaviours that are consistent with the Bega Cheese values
