The Position
We are currently on the search for an Operations Scheduler to join our Operations team in Clayton, Melbourne.

Working as part of our Clayton branch and reporting into the Service Delivery Manager this role will see you contribute greatly to the performance, productivity, effectiveness and profitability of the branch through the provision and implementation of effective operational initiatives.

Utilising your operations and mentoring skills, along with your hands on approach, you will oversee and assist with the day to day management of our frontline team to drive a successful operation.

Whilst a background in Removals Scheduling/Operational support is paramount to your success, one of the key qualities we are looking for is a 'can do' attitude and the belief that 'we can make it happen'.

Job tasks will be wide and varied with no two days ever being the same. Availability to work Saturday's, on occasion, will be highly regarded
This is an autonomous role where you will spend your day largely unsupervised and therefore you will need exceptional multitasking, time management and confident decision making skills.

The Suitable Candidate
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in all aspects of Removals Operational support (including scheduling crews), a strong focus on providing superior customer service to both internal and external stakeholders and an unflinching desire to see every task through to completion.

You will be a highly motivated and an enthusiastic team player able to work in a fast paced environment, capable of managing high volume work flow, be proactive in your approach and willing to take on new challenges with confidence and a positive attitude.

Your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Efficient allocation of labour and resources through particular and careful scheduling
  • Processing of all relevant documentation
  • Provide strategic guidance in branch discussions
  • Responding to Customer / Employee queries
  • Briefing & Debriefing Staff
  • Various other Operational functions as required
