About the role:

We have an opportunity for an up and coming Quality practitioner to join local team in Melbourne whilst also providing on the ground support to our Adelaide office.  The position will work alongside our QES Manager for VIC/SA and form a part of our broader Australian & New Zealand team.

We are looking for a passionate quality professional who takes a coaching/mentoring approach in all interactions with project staff, our mandate is to drive quality performance on our projects.

The responsibilities of the position will include:

• Supporting the business in driving the overall quality, environmental and sustainability strategy, programmes, processes and obligations
• Promoting quality and environmental performance improvement and achievement of management system objectives and key performance indicators
• Reporting on quality, environmental and sustainability deliverables and metrics
• Undertaking internal and second party quality and environmental audits
• Attending and supporting third party quality and environmental audits (eg ISO 9001, 14001 and 17020)
• Support to other locations within Australia and New Zealand as required
• Participation in global quality, environmental and sustainability development programs as required
• Assisting with managerial/administrative tasks

What we are looking for:

Ideally you’d present with a tertiary level qualification aligned to this position, with a preference forQuality, Total Quality Management and/or Environmental Science and/or Engineering.  In addition, the role will require you to be able to demonstrate:

• Strong relationship and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt and work effectively not only in a local framework but also as a part of a broader, regionally dispersed function
• The ability to influence stakeholders
• A proven track record in delivering results
• Comfort and a willingness to upskill employees in quality and environmental management system knowledge through coaching and mentoring
