A position has become available within our company for a Workshop Storeperson. If you possess a sound mechanical knowledge, have previous workshop, warehouse and purchasing experience apply now.
The successful applicant’s initial duties will cover:
- Purchasing Heavy Vehicle Parts, Consumables, Steel & Welding material
- Receiving and dispatching goods
- Maintaining paperwork efficiently, this involves receipting and job costing
- Stock taking
- Inventory control
- Record keeping
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
The successful applicant must display and have:
- Current MR Licence
- Current Forklift Licence
- A neat and tidy appearance
- Punctuality, reliability and a good work ethic
- Ability to work without supervision, follow instructions and to meet deadlines
- Literacy & Numeracy Skills
- Computer knowledge
This is a permanent position with a 3 month probationary period. Uniforms are supplied upon completion of probation.
